At a certain scale of enterprise, the slightest deviations in measurement may cost thousands if not millions. Harteq manufactures percise measuring hardware for fleet management solutions. The excellence and precision put in product development had to be reflected in a one-of-a-kind identity.
The Concept
A linear scale became the graphic representation of precision utilized in both the brandmark and graphic visual constant throughout brand collateral.

The horizontal lines of the scale are then reflected in slab-serif typography as well as repeated at layout edges as the main visual element.
The Execution
Precise measurements are contrasted with a heavy industrial environment conveyed through a vivid red base colour, rough paper texture (almost like sandpaper) and deep large-area smooth silver foil stamping.
A rough brand environment recreated with strong visual and haptic stimuli.
The print
Two very different papers were laminated together to get a harsh red outer cover and a smooth writing surface on the inside. All visuals were then foil stamped with probably the largest matrixes we’ve ever worked with.
A visual relationship of precision and technicality with industrial grit.
